Principal Environmental Consultant

The right candidate will maintain quality in the details while keeping the end-goal in sight. The desired candidate must posses the following qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a geological science or engineering, preferably a Masters of Science or Engineering
  • Professional registration that is current or transferrable in SC and NC
  • 15 – 20 years of experience in environmental site assessments and ex-situ and in-situ remediation technologies
  • Strong organizational, technical and business communication skills with clients, regulators and team members in written and oral form
  • Dependable, highly motivated and self-driven, who works well as a team member or independently and is prepared to be in a leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of the various state and federal environmental regulatory programs pertaining to site investigation, remediation and permitting (CERCLA, RCRA, SCDHEC VCP, NCDEQ REC)
  • Strong experience in current site investigation methods and technologies, groundwater, surface water, soil and vapor remediation technologies including chemical, biological and physical remediation methods and technologies, and geochemical data evaluation
  • Planning and conducting hydrogeological evaluations including aquifer tests and modeling

Civil and Environmental Engineering Manager

We are seeking a senior Civil and Environmental Engineer with experience in site design and the water and environmental industries. This is a management-track position with opportunity for growth and advancement.

The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction management and environmental consulting of water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collections, storm water drainage and management, and site development projects for municipal, industrial and commercial clients. In addition, the candidate must have knowledge of networking, marketing, sales, writing proposals, and writing requests for qualifications. A working knowledge of surveying and AutoCAD is helpful. Candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication and technical writing skills and be dependable, highly motivated and self-driven, who works well as a team member or independently and is prepared to be in a leadership role. The project work will include survey, design, and field observation of construction sites, water and wastewater utility systems, and general consulting to our municipal, industrial and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate would possess 1) a Master of Science degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineering (candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with the relevant experience would also be considered), 2) professional engineering license in the state of South Carolina or the ability to obtain it within 6 months, and 3) 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in a professional services firm.

LICENSED SURVEYOR AND CAD DRAFTER

Rogers & Callcott Environmental is a well-established, employee-owned firm providing engineering, environmental consulting and laboratory testing services to our municipal, industrial and commercial clients since 1969.  We are seeking a Surveyor and drafter with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.

The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in surveying for a variety of applications, including boundary, topographic, construction surveying, and be capable of producing and stamping plats.  The candidate must also have a strong knowledge of and expertise with AutoCAD 3D.  A license to survey in the State of South Carolina or required or the candidate must be capable of obtaining their license within 6 month of being hired.  Additionally, strong technical expertise, specifically in the development of construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D for municipal wastewater conveyance systems (gravity sewers and pump stations), water distribution systems, water and wastewater treatment systems, storm water drainage and management systems.  Candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication and technical writing skills and be dependable, highly motivated and self-driven, who works well as a team member or independently.  The project work will include field survey, design, and construction observation of water and wastewater utility systems, and general consulting to our municipal, industrial and commercial client needs.
